Events

Private founder lunches, dinners and networking events.

FounderSherpa brings together scaling B2B founders for useful, confidential conversations about growth, leadership, succession and life beyond the day-to-day. We held our first founder lunch on 25 June in Borough Market, London, for 14 founders, and the next is on 3 November 2026. Our founder lunches and dinners are limited to up to 15 founders in a vendor-free environment, so the conversation can stay practical, open and relevant.

Why events

Some of the most useful founder insight does not come from panels, playbooks or polished success stories. It comes from honest conversations with people who have already faced similar decisions: when to step back, how to build a leadership team, how to make yourself less central, how to prepare for succession, and what life can look like beyond the business.

FounderSherpa events are designed to create space for those conversations.

Experience behind FounderSherpa
I really enjoyed my discussions. We all have some things in common, while each of us has set out on slightly different paths. I found myself learning a great deal.

Founder lunches and dinners

Our founder lunches and dinners bring together up to 15 founders in a confidential, vendor-free environment. These gatherings are intentionally small so founders can speak openly, share experience and compare notes with others facing similar decisions.

They are not sales rooms. They are not pitch events. They are practical, private conversations for people carrying similar responsibilities.

The focus is on the questions that become more important as a business scales. How do you build a leadership team that can truly carry the load? How do you stop being the bottleneck? How do you prepare the business for succession or exit without becoming distracted by the end point? And how do you think about your own role as the company grows beyond you?

Founder networking events

Alongside private lunches and dinners, FounderSherpa hosts selected networking events for founders who want to meet others at a similar stage of growth. These events are for founders who value honest conversation over surface-level networking.

The aim is to create useful connections between people who understand the realities of building, leading and eventually stepping back from a business. The format may vary, but the standard will remain the same: curated rooms, relevant people and conversations worth having.

These themes come from what founders are actually working through at this stage.

Event themes planned for 2027

Building leadership beyond the founder

Leadership teams, delegation, board effectiveness, decision-making and co-founder alignment.

Preparing for succession or exit

Succession readiness, value creation, exit preparation and reducing founder dependency.

Life beyond the day-to-day

Founder identity, post-exit transition, stepping back without losing purpose and designing the next chapter.

Selected partner events

From time to time, FounderSherpa may also highlight selected events from trusted partners where they are directly relevant to the FounderSherpa community. These may include events from organisations such as Renewd, Collingwood or other specialist partners working with founders on succession, leadership, board effectiveness, exit readiness, value creation or the founder's transition beyond the business.

Partner events should only be included where they are genuinely useful to scaling founders.

Partnership enquiry

We work with a small number of partners — wealth managers, accountants, law firms, M&A advisors, investors and other advisors — who want to build genuine relationships with founders over time. If that's a fit, we'd like to hear from you.
